Questions from investors

Frequently asked questions.

How long does it take to open a clinic in Dubai?

A smaller clinic can typically open in around 3–6 months, covering business setup, health authority approval, fit-out and recruitment. Larger medical centres, day surgery centres and hospitals take longer. We give you a realistic programme once we understand your concept and location.

Do I need a local partner or sponsor?

Not necessarily. Many healthcare businesses can now be fully foreign-owned in the UAE, either on the mainland or in a free zone. The right structure depends on your activity, location and plans, and we advise you on the best option during business setup.

Which health authority will approve my facility?

It depends on the emirate. Facilities in Dubai are licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), in Abu Dhabi by the Department of Health (DOH), in Sharjah by the Sharjah Health Authority (SHA), and in most other emirates by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). We manage the approval process with the right authority for you.

Can you handle the whole project, or just part of it?

Either. Many clients engage us for the full journey, from market research to opening day and beyond, but you can also engage us for a single step, such as a feasibility study, health authority approvals or recruitment.

What does it cost to get started?

Your first consultation is free. If you want to go further, we offer a paid GCC market assessment and feasibility study, quoted according to the scope of your project. Larger engagements are always quoted up front.

Who do we sign a contract with?

Only with Sucesso Health Partners. We present the proposal, sign one contract with you and issue one invoice, even where parts of the work are delivered with our UAE partners.

Can you help us expand beyond the UAE?

Yes. The UAE is the natural gateway to the region, and once you are established there we can support your expansion into other GCC markets such as Saudi Arabia and Oman.
